What Studio builds
Need a portal that does X and reports on Y? That is Studio. It is built out just to suit you — not a screen populated by access permissions, but a custom tool, or a set of them, that exists because you needed it.
It is full project development. Your build can reach everything that already runs here — the tools, the platform — and the custom pieces made only for you.
Every build carries its own engagement, hosting and management terms, agreed at the start.
When it is the right choice
Your process is unusual, your data is difficult, or what you need is not sold anywhere.
It is the slowest and most expensive of the three. If an existing tool or a package would serve you, you will be told.
How it runs
Paid discovery first, so the work addresses the real problem rather than the one described in a meeting.
Then phases. Each is paid before the next begins, and each produces something you can review.
Then it is either operated here or transferred to you, documented and deployable rather than delivered as a folder of code.
Stated plainly
Estimates are least reliable here, because the thing has not been built before. The phases exist so you can stop at any point.
Where existing infrastructure can be used, it is. You are not paying to recreate what already runs.
